Camp is always a shared experience, so that experience must be a great one! This is why we are diligent in our awareness regarding Scout and Volunteer safety! We don't have many rules at camp, but the ones we DO have, we are very passionate about!
Please don't send your scout to camp with any hint of illness. If she is found to have any symptoms of illness, our Health Officer will notify the parent that the scout needs to rest at home that day!
Camper may not arrive to camp BEFORE 4:15pm
She must be signed in and out by parent or guardian every day. No Dropoffs allowed.
Camper should wear shirts that cover their shoulders (the sun is brutal!) She should also wear clothing that allows for movement! Soft shorts must be worn under sun dresses.
CLOSED TOED SHOES ARE A MUST! There are too many hazards to vulnerable toes while camping to allow for sandals. We understand it is hot, and it is more comfortable to wear flip-flops, but at Scout Camp: safety is key. Last thing any scout experience needs is a twisted ankle or stubbed toe injury!
The scout uniform is not required to be worn at camp.
Please understand that if these rules are not followed, the scout will stay separated from the groups until the parent can make the changes needed to be compliant with these rules.
